There is no logical explination for doing that to your car other than you want to. There is no such thing as "too big" anymore. It is very similar to "too fast".

Does anyone really need a car with 1,001 BHP (Bugatti Veyron) ? No.
Is that an obscene amount of power and speed? Yes.
Is that complete over-kill? Yes indeed.

But you have to admit...it's pretty damn cool.
