We have installed many sets of 20's and 22's on 300's. We have never run into a problem with this mythical nut. As long as you are using a wheel with the proper width and offset you should never have a problem with the 300 platform.

Eibach lowering kits are designed to fit perfectly with no modification to your car. At this time there are not too many options for suspension modification. The Eibach springs will be a great way to start building up your suspension by reducing body roll and increasing stability.
