Question for Buy Wheels-

I thought I read on this forum that the bolt is attached to a bar that moves up and down with the wheel... meaning that it is a fixed distance from the center of the wheel. Chances of rubbing only occur when you replace with a wheel tire package that is larger in overall diameter than stock - you actually make your tire closer to the bolt by using a larger diameter. In other words, lowering the vehicle would have no impact on the distance of the bolt from the tire. Can you confirm? This may put SF's mind at ease... if he has enought clearance now, he would retain that same clearance.

I've had my car for about a week and run 265/35/22 pirellis with 22" 9.5 TIS 03's with the 15mm offset and notice no difference in the distance of the bolt from the tire after putting on the eibach pro kit. I believe the one member who actually made contact with this bolt was running 265/35/22 that were 8 wide making them balloon quite a bit.

I think the eibach kit is an incredible mod and think as a sponsor you could do a lot to alleviate concerns about the notorious bolt.
