I have talked about using Adam's Polishes on more than one occasion and have used the product for almost 2 years! This is a line of excellent products that was recommended to me by diehard Corvette owners.

Nice to see we will finally have them as a supporting vendor.

A huge welcome to you!

Nice to see another detailing pro here as a vendor!!! Now you're talking, but now I gotta make a decision between wax or sealant. Checked out your site and see you have lots of kits available.

Thanks Dale. I'm really torn here between waxes and sealants. We used to have a vendor here who got a lot of us hooked on his sealant. He was a professional detailer and offered a variety of brands that he felt were superior. In other words he was not brand loyal, instead he offered what he felt was best for every product he sold. Do you offer sealant at all and what's your opinion of it in general.

My main interest is the ease of applying it and buffing it off. Sealant is so easy to use and remove and leaves little to no dust after buffing, where as wax tends to be tedious and you have to do one panel at a time. Add to that it lasts much longer than wax.

I've also heard the trend today are waxes and sealants that don't bead, preventing water spots as water just sheets off. Can you shed some light on that?

I guess what I'm really asking is if you can convince me to change back to wax? I've spent a ton of money on this stuff, but if something can keep my car looking great I'm all for it.

Hello Bernie,

Thanks for the excellent questions! We too are here not just to promote our products, but to learn from everyones detailing experiences using all sorts of products. In my opinion, if you are currently using a line products that are working well for you, awesome!!! Keep using them.

Yes Bernie, we do offer a sealant. It is called Machine Super Wax and it is a polymer-based sealant that is applied using a D/A Polisher.

What separates our waxes/sealants from most others, is that you can apply them in all sorts of conditions and they are extremely easy to use. You can apply our Buttery Wax in direct sunlight on a hot day and it will come off with hardly any effort. There is not chalky residue or powder left behind. The same goes for the Machine Super Wax.

In most cases you are going to find that water will bead up on your vehicle's finish. This means that you have a good layer of protection on your paint. What I like to do once I have finished washing my vehicles, is take off the hose nozzle and let the water stream free out of the hose. Allow the water to stream freely over the panels of your vehicle and you will notice all of the water sheet right off.

What it comes down to is personal preference. If you plan to drive your car minimally and wax it often, I would stick with a regular carnuba-based wax. If you are going to drive your car daily and in all sorts of conditions then I would go with a sealant.

For more information on the differences and the pros & cons of waxes and sealants, click here.

Thanks again Bernie, I hope this helps. Please contact me with any additional questions!

-Dale

Well Dale, that was a great response. I'll be sure to try your products in the spring. Right now it's a little hard to be thinking of detailing my car when I just finished shoveling a foot of snow...haha.

I'll for sure be ordering in the spring. I'm into shiny things in a big way!!! I'm also into supporting our Supporting Vendors here. I don't drive my car in the winter, or even in the rain for that matter and it's important for me to keep it in better than new condition. It's pretty much a garage queen. I'm also interested in a D/A Polisher, but too afraid to use one for fear of damaging my paint. If it can make it easier and faster I'd definately consider it though.

Thanks again for your reply!

Bernie
