Get rid of "egg yolk" Parking Lights

This is a FREE mod that takes less than 5 min to complete.

You can finally keep the ugly egg yolk from distracting from the pretty Halos.

I have to give credit to my buddy Greg from LXforums for the info and pics

Here is an inexpensive way to modify the stock 3457 bulb so just the signal filament of the bulb works. Just snip one of the exposed wires on the bulb socket:

There are 4 wires, 2 at each end.
The two outside wires are the High intensity filament, the two inside wires are the low intensity filament. Just pry up one of the inside wires (does not matter which end) and snip it off:

Good tip Justin. I'm gonna snap some pics when I hook up my halos for you (look for my old headlights to be incoming soon, new ones on the 13th probably) but I just snipped one of the 3 wires. Turn signal bulbs still come on and work fine. I'll find out which color wire was which.

correct, you can snip the Red wire to achieve the same effect but this is less "perminent"

Justin, when you do this mod, it makes the signal filament burn all the time, correct? When you put on your blinker, what happens, on/off/on/off instead of bright/dim/bright/dim??

Thanks
Justin
