You could put in a controller... when I had mine wired to my parking lights I would just hit the unlock button and they would come on if I had the lights in the parking light position. I want to do something similar to mine, cause right now I have them on a switched power source (practical for every day use, but a pain to keep on during a show)

not that hard, you need a 12volt light controller, they make them for computer cases that use cold cathodes...

Make it easy and throw a relay on your interior lights and hook that up to the halos. Then they would come on when you unlock & open the doors. The realy would allow you to also hook them up to your parking lights or just a regular switch.
Interior lights = Yellow wire/ White Stripe, passenger side kick panel area.
When I can afford the down time to send my lights to AAC this is what I'll be doing.
