Yea, I wouldn't build a hood with vents and not make them functional.

There are a couple of vendors in this business that don't quite understand that concept, though!

Lol, yea I've seen it and don't get it. I don't understand building and designing a hood with vents and then leaving them closed. If water is an issue then we could design it with some rain trays etc.

how about just adding a hood buldge.a bit like we have here in oz with our fpv gt,s and have either mesh cut into the side or a hemi sticker
