What kind of hinges did you use?

hinges are just a universal kit from SUICIDEDOORS.com that i modified..i did 100 percent of the work so labor came to about 150 bucks for beer..and the door handles are shaved

I L O V E suicide doors on these cars and I think it's awesome you are doing it. Actually I would love to have them on my car but seeing the hinge you went with makes me awefully nervous.
I've seen several suicide doors on our types of cars that have been done successfully and none of them had that small of a door hinge. Maybe it's just the view we're seeing. I'm not saying it wont work perfectly but it would definitely make me nervous.

am i the only one noticing that those are the FRONT doors that are suicided!!
that is sick!!! that is actually easier to do than the back doors because of the rear wheel hump.

DING DING we have a winner...front doors people! i got sick of all the lambo doors out there... and its actually alot harder than your imagining...i re-made the whole pillar of the car and also the back of the door since everthing is curved... and also getting the windows to still roll down in both front and back doors was a task.
