haha I got the V6,

I found that it was really fast (coming from a heavy Jeep Grand Cherokee V8), and the 8speed is beautiful (srs)

I did test drive the SRT8, did have the option (was considering it on lease, and it was working out fairly cheap), just didn't wanna wait 5months and its just stupidly fast, I wouldn't be able to stop speeding lol.

I would say I need a car that's stupidly fast... to get to work. However, I'm now retired so I only need a car that's stupidly fast... to get to the shops.

Got it yesterday,

First impressions are that its awesome, V6 is really responsive, transmission is quick as hell, Interior colour etc is awesome,

fit and finish on the outside is perfect, The 300C Lux is all satin finish rather than chrome, gives it a bit of a richer look imho.

fit and finish in the interior is good, not perfect though, there are a couple of black streaks on the leather steering wheel (not sure of the best way to clean leather, thinking of just letting dealer know at 1000km service), and the driver side a-pillar cover has a 3mm gap with the a-pillar. Hopefully these are minor fixes, other than these things, it is really awesome

Congratulations on the purchase of your new cars. The interiors certainly are a big improvement, love them. With a bit of luck you blokes will restore the forum to its past glory days and prevent an implosion.
