Keys for 2009 SRT

Just purchased 2009 srt. Have found that the spare remote key doesnt work. Have checked battery and it has 3 volts as required. Have seen on other forums if you have two keys you can program a third yourself. However I only have the two keys with only one working correctly. How can I get the spare key active again????

have u checked the problem with the dealership?

3rd key programming only works for North American cars. If your key is shagged you have 2 choices. Either go to your dealer and get another key = $500 or fit the car with a remote start system = $250.
