The last 3 wheels were the same ones I co.nsidered. Ended up going with the DV8's. Had to send 3 of them back though due to multiple hairline scratches on them. It's a 5 week wait for the replacements, Bugger!!

im thinking about these rims, best ones i've found so far, i like the deep dish design ones better

I'll check it out.
Actually Mineral Grey is not one of the colour options in the U.S. They either call it something else all together or it simply isn't offered.

Smile another newbie

Hi Folks,

picked up my 300C off the first boatload into Brisbane in November and have only seen another 2 or 3 up here since.

Been busy with it, cruised down to Sydney over Christmas, got my first speed camera pic the other day and got backed into by another car last week - so I'm probably the first in Qld at the panel beaters The chrome strip on the top of the rear bumper retails for close to $500 btw !!!

The dealer up here offered me access to Dub items when I ordered it - but the $$$ uplift on the wheels and grille was huge - besides the luxury car tax kicked it up even more if ordered with the car as new, so I'm looking at options for wheels in Australia - I'll try to pick up a grille on my next US trip.

Anyone had any luck on the UConnect front in Aus yet ? I chased it up at the dealer before xmas and am still waiting for an answer...

anyway - luv the car so far - smooth and refined and gets double the MPG of my TransAm- just getting kinda tired of the stares and constant questions at the servo and shops etc - the TA was bad enough

cheers

grunt

G'day grunt62. Welcome aboard. What colour did you get?

On the Mineral Grey discussion, in the US they get a similar colour call Silver Steel.

thats a great looking motor you got there, i gotta say i like those black rims, ever thought about putting a black grill on ? might go with those rims. i was thinking about airbag suspension aswell from tubular suspension systems, cos i think they say on their site australian made and they get it approved, but the price seems a bit high something round 4-5k

Yeah i would buy a spare grill and paint it black but the thing is its a pain to change, Tubular suspension is doing my bags with the bigger tanks and stuff so it can pump up quicker i think is more close to the $6500 mark.

UNTAMD, I see that you have been lurking around the Forum for while. I haven't crossed threads with you until now.

Your 300C is looking good.

What state are you in? It looks like NSW from some of the number plates in the pics.
