Thumbs up

Looks like there will be SRT61 cruising around Victoria and another SRT61 cruising around NSW. I bought that plate last week, but also got SRT 300. How much did that plate cost you Hemi 57? Mine costs me $500 p/y, because it's personalised. I started with SRT 300 that was only 160p/y, but could not resist SRT61.

From what I've been reading on other forums from the US, alot of people got the sh...t's waiting for their SRT's. It took a long time for people to get them or get any info on how their order was going. Do you think that will happen here, or is April/May a realistic arrival date??

I was told the same by one dealer, but another said they would start building mid 06 for arrival late 06.

Cheers.

srt61, we get a much better deal on plates here in Vic. HEMI57 cost me $295. SRT61 cost me $495. These prices are once off, ie. there is no additional annual cost.

As far as the delivery date goes, seems pretty firm that May will be the first deliveries of SRT8s. I will check with Chrysler HO later today with my contact.

Hey Arnold. No, I haven't yet decided if I'm going to get personalised plates for it. I'm trying to think up something cool enough but not overdone....I've got the standard VIC license plates at the moment but missed out on TUF 998 by about 10 hours or so!

Just ordered my 22" wheels today

I'm getting some 3-Piece Billet Aluminium Intro's made in the states, prob take about 7 weeks to get made and delivered (Christmas etc). My mate who is the distributor for them measured my car today and can get some wide wheels under the guards. Look forward to fitting them and the eibach springs. Oh, and my billet grill should arrive any day now

arnold, I am looking forward to meeting you on Tuesday night at the Cruise.

SRT8 should be here April/May. Some people are saying +15k over the 300C Hemi. Brighton Chrysler are saying expect at least +20k. We will have to see eh?
HEMI 57 looking out the window, I don,t think we will be meeting tonight. I have been out driving AHEMI in the rain today. Went to lunch in Williamstown, sort of a practice run for to night. Guess we will meet another time.
Cheers

arnold don't pike out on me now. I am planning to go along rain or shine. I am looking out to the west right now from my 24th floor window and it does seem to be clearing up a bit.

Hey, I even left HEMI locked in the garage today to try and stay clean for tonight. Drove my ol' ute to work.

hemifyde, welcome. I see you joined a while back but could not find any other posts by you. Glad to see your onboard.

I spoke to my Chrysler HQ contact this morning. SRT8 build run for OZ is January. Should land in country April, so bank on May availability. Touring (wagon) model same schedule.
