Can Uconnect be installed in Oz's 300c?

I'm just wondering whether we can install/retrofit uconnect (OEM Bluetooth) to Oz specs 300c? http://www.lxforums.com/board/showth...6&page=1&pp=10

Can someone confirm whether we have this rear view mirror?

I cant recall whether the car has it or not and my car will arrive next month

I really want to do this mods once I get my car, but if we dont have this rear view mirror, I dont think we can do the retrofit.

Hm, that's bad news.

Any possiblities to retrofit this mirror? I think as long as the cables there (or we can make them), I think we can do this retrofit.

HEMI57: R u willing to check the cable behind the pillar? hehe

bezita, I am not sure I want to start pulling apart the interior. I will have a poke around and see if I can ID extra cables heading up there on the weekend.

U Connect is available for the 300C. It's not the fully integrated type that you're after though. Check the link below. It's off the Voyager page but the 300C unit is exactly the same.

I bet this is an add-on accessories , not the OEM ones that comes standard in US's 300c and also I dont think this unit can be integrated with with audio as the OEM one does.

Hemi57: If you did find out what, where the cables are, please let us know n post pics if possible G'luck

But it states that the radio is muted when the phone is being used, is this what you mean by integrated?

I believed the Audio/NAv that connected to the OEM Uconnect can display CallerID, Dialling, etc. Just like the picture below:

I dont know the ones you show us. I might just ask Dealer later when I pick-up the car.

bezita, I checked the cable and plug that goes into the back of the mirror. There are at least 2 vacant pins in the plug that I could clearly see so I would gather from that there is a different wiring loom in the OZ 300C.

So wirings/plugs at the back of the Oz mirror are not like these one?
