Thank god for that, since i sold my commodore i've had to share my wife's car, and it's just not working out at all. I'm picking up a car tonight to get me through but it's a dead set bomb, 1984 subaru, runs rough as. Sooner my srt gets here the better let me tell you!

Arnold, can't make it. These days working on into the evening every day, just so busy at work.

Hopefully you will get another 300C to "support" you.

Hemi57 what a small world, i saw you last night around 7.15pm! You were cruising down burke rd near central park, i was coming home from work and whenever i catch sight of a 300c i always have a look, and this time i spotted your number plates, i was a little bit excited actually. (in a sensible way only of course!)

Must say hemi57 looks particularly nice, the grill and inserts really make the car look very neat and tidy. But on the negative side, it made me a bit annoyed too, because yesterday morning i gave in and went and hired a cheap car to get me through (sharing with the missus is just impossible), and somehow i reckon the experience of driving an 83 corolla is not as much fun as driving a nice new 300c.

Dom, you caught me close to home Give me a flash of headlights if it happens again and we can say G'day. I can step you through some of the features that took me a few days to appreciate with the 300C and that will get you even more excited (or maybe annoyed) to get the SRT8.

Mate i'm still learning how to turn the headlights on let alone flash a high beam!

I haven't driven such an old dilapidated car since i was a teenager, i kind of liked it for the first 15mins but the novelty soon wore off. Another thing, i reckon people treat you differently when you drive a 'bomb'. When i was 24 i bought a brand spanking nissan 200sx turbo, red, dark tint, and whacked an 8grand stereo upgrade into it, i got stares left right center man people gawked at me smiled nodded etc like i was a legend. Then i got it serviced and the loan car was a brown 1985 bluebird, sheesh people tailgated me, tooted, generally looked down their nose at me. Got back in the 200 and voila it's back to stares and gaping gobs! I was highly bemused by the whole experience, couldn't believe how shallow society was in some ways, i'm sure it wasn't just me being paranoid. Although i guess it would've been hard for anyone to tailgate me then, i used to drive it pretty hard. It's going to be very strange stepping out of this car straight into the srt8.

But i'll be sure to turn the lights on/off when i see you next, just look for a light blue corolla or a black jeep cherokee (sometimes i'll be in the wife's car) and that's me mate!

Dom, we could start another thread on this subject alone I reckon. I still frequently drive my old WB Ute and every time I do I am amazed how other drivers treat me in traffic. Pull out in front of me, cut me off doing lane changes, scramble to get in other lanes at traffic lights (even though I get going faster than most other cars), etc.. Don't they look at this old Ute?? Dents in just about every panel!, surface rust in places!

Hey hit me, I need the money
