Well...I think I will be looking to play with some of these cars now...I thought the difference was obvious, but since there is no clear winner.....I will try and find out....At least someone said the 300C will beat the holden!!......Gonna try to find some of them out on the streets....later!!

wanna update you guys on these 2 cars!! (300c vs. holden commodore SS)
My friend had a test drive 2005 commodore SS for 2 hours, so he called me and asked if I wanna race him (he knew I wanted to find out which is faster)
Of course I met him right away!!!! and guess what???
I BEAT THE **** OUT OF THAT HOLDEN SS 4 TIMES!!!!!!!
2 times from a stand still by about 1.5 car lengths
2 times from 20-30MPH roll, and I still beat him by 2 car lengths!!!!!!!!
It was fun BUT, there always has to be some buts
I had the kooks long tubes headers and the holden was stock, but still I won!!
Now for the test drive itself, I asked my friend to let me drive the holden. And let me tell you, IT WILL LAY MORE RUBBER THAN THE HEMI FROM 1ST AND INTO 2ND GEAR............its 100%more fun to drive than the 300c but maybe cuz the tires ain't sporty or something?? OH YEAH MY FRIND DID A STUNNING WHITE SMOKE DOUNUT BURNOUT!!!!!!!! SWEET!!!!!! Why can't my 300c ever do that????????
I dont understand how i can beat it but cant lay as much rubber on the streets!!
IMHO, if my car was stock ,I think we will be dead even in a race!!

alik2b, seems you demonstrated to advanced design of the 300C suspension with better traction than the archaic Holden IRS design.

Have you tried the 300C with ESP off? But then the electronics still take over and cannot be completely overridden.

There is a thread on the Forum which talks about a fuse to remove to totally disable the ESP and all associated safety features. You could try that at your own risk

ESP is a joke (in 300C).....turned off it will let me spin the tires but never REALLY go sideways.......
I also tried removing fuse 17 BUT LET ME TELL YOU THAT NO MATTER WHAT OTHERS SAY, THE CAR WOULD STILL APPLY SOME BRAKES DURING WIDE FIASH TALING.....
Basically no dounuts

Hey alik2b..I have whipped every stock 5.7 Australian built chevy azz that I have raced so far...BUT..remember..make sure it is STOCK or with minor modifications.
I have seen these machines being tuned here in KUWAIT, so beware of the TUNED ones because they will eat you up
I now have the FLASHPAQ installed..and ready to try..but let me tell you..You will fishtail at WOT with ESP off all the way to the 2nd gear and you can make donuts all day long.

how are you able to make donuts with the 300C...... well, I got the flashpaq but never tried to make some donuts.........maybe the ESP is disabled after all with this tuner.....will try it very soon!!
