Aussie EVIC?

What version of the EVIC do you Aussies have on your 2006 300C's? Does your version allow the adjustment of the auto headlamp sensitivity? Do you have cruise control? Does your EVIC have a Cruise Control icon on the EVIC, if you have cruise control? Regards, Bob.

Hi. Thanks. One of the Brits suggested I ask you guys. We have cruise but no cluster icon either on the 2006 300C's. Best regards, Bob.

Aha BobF

I may be in a position to help (or then again mabye not).

I think that the European spec 300c's have the auto headlights, & there are a few Swiss & German members posting and they may be able to help, it's just the Brits that don't have them.

Don't feel to bad about it though, because at least we have The Ashes. (if your not sure what they are, ask an Aussie - I'm sure that they'd be delighted to tell you.

hemi57 dont worry we'll have the ashes back soon enough. they played at their absolute best over there, we went in injured and decrepit and with a couple of now has-beens and played fairly average putting it mildly, and in the end only got beat by a couple of runs. Had we won that test with the last wicket stand, we win the ashes.

Now we've discovered Hussy, Symons is playing a lot better, Gilespie is gone, Gilchrist showing signs off coming back onto the boil, Hodge is an emerging talent, and of course playing on aussie soil, plus Flintoff seemed vulnerable on our pitches when he came here, whilst in england he looked like an alien at times he was that good. I got a hunch, i just reckon we have a great chance at getting them back first try. Will be tough but i reckon we can do it.

Hang on a minute Domenic, I'm sure that you've been reading the book of English sporting excuses because we've been using the above one for decades.

Seriously though, the Ashes series last year really captured the imagination of the country as a whole, and the fact taht it was so close (& played in such a competitive, hard, sporting and sporting way) only added to the event. After years of snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory, it was nice to ACTUALLY win one.

Cheer up Domenic, at least you still have the Rugby World Cup trophy, oh, hang on a sec, wasn't the Rugby World Cup won by ............

haha

i'm not really into rugby much, i'm actually a football fan (soccer), and whilst i wouldn't say we're clearly better in that field i must ask what happened last time Australia played England in the round ball code???

Hmmm.

You know, i got up early to watch that one, was at west ham from memory, and when kewell cut rio ferdinand in half and rounded the keeper to put us 2-0 up against a FULL STRENGTH pommie side i must admit i woke up the neighbours and nearly punched a hole in the roof i jumped that high!
Great memories eh murph...

Seriously though australia cant win everything every year, jeez the ashes was what nearly 20years straight wasn't it? Or was it 120? Seemed like 120 anyway. Good luck to England they played brilliantly i freely will admit, and your bowlers are very good, without McGrath and Warne our attack looks meek by comparison......although must say it confused me at times, i wasn't sure if we were playing england or south africa, that fella with the dodgy dye job on his hair was through and through saffie and he's playing for england??? yeah and kepler wessles was an aussie too. pretty funny all that switching countries stuff, i think it should be outlawed.

Hey Domenic

but when we DID win the Ashes (after about 120 years), did you see any of the English Cricket teams celebrations ? I believe that they had been studying the Aussie principle of "celebrating properly" and performed it well.
Some of them were that p*ssed that they couldn't remember seeing Phony Tony Bliar the next day !!

As for the English Football team - pah, we're the worlds permanent under achievers. The press build them up to be world beaters while I think that we could best be describesd as being average. I remember the game that you are talking about - it could hardly be described as a highpoint in English Football could it ? & that's not taking anything away from your lot at all.
By my reckoning you won 3-1, but thanks for making it sound better at 2-0.

p.s. Lucas Neill Brett Emerton plays for my team Blackburn Rovers

hey murph, i heard there were something like 30,000 poms coming over for the ashes later this year, bloody nora you're almost going to outnumber us in our own country! Should be fun....i don't like cricket much but i'm actually quite looking forward to that series. In a strange way it was good we lost the ashes, cricket was getting boring us winning all the time. Now we have a real challenge on our hands!
