How dark is your tint? The back has to be at least 20%.

Hi Bezita,

15%!! I'm doing 20% on mine and I thought that was dark. Who did the tint job for you? Did they have any difficulty removing the door trims?
How dark are your front windows?
Sorry for all the questions I just want to find a tint mob with some experience on the 300's.

That could have been me.. I told Sebastian I was ordering the Black SRT and changed my mind for silver when signing the document at Brighton. Sebastian mentioned the silver would be a better option as I had the black HSV Grange which my wife was often scratching.

Hes probably mixed us up.. I owned a black HSV Grange he was familar with, said I was ordering a black 300C and actually ordered a silver SRT..... all makes sense to me....

Ummm, the plot thickens. Sebastian said that his customer who got rid of a Grange actually drove in with their new Black 300C so it was probably not you. He reckoned that he has about 5 customers ("distinguished gentlemen" ) who have bought 300Cs.

Funny how we are customers of a Panel Shop eh?

I dont know the guy, a friend of mine refer him to me and I think he's mobile. (I pm you his detail). My car is his 1st tint for 300c and he's not removing the door trims because he said the gap/space between the windows and the trim is "do-able".

As I said in my previous post, all my windows are using 15% tints (no tint on front windscreen ofcourse)

22" wheels

I installed the wheels about 2 weeks ago and I'm planning to post the updates later on after I finish the U-connect harness.
But one of the forum member Spock1/Sean spotted my car couple of days ago and requested to post pics of my car. So here they are:

Wheels info:
DUB Mogul 22"x9.5"F ET+18 and 22"x10.5"R ET+21
Probably many of you wanted to know the weight per wheel (without tyre):
Front: 18.5Kg
Rear: 20Kg

Tyre info:
Hankook 265/35/22F and 295/30/22R

They rub with the fenders before and I have to roll all the fenders and now they only rub with the inner plastic inside the fender in extreme conditions. The ride quality is firmer than the OEM but it's still within my limit, IMO the KW var2 handle them well. As for the acceleration.., hmm I think I feel the car a TINY bit slower. I cant really tell the different now!!!

What do you guys think?

As for the Extra U-Connect harness, it is very hard to get the bloody U-Connect harness... none of the seller would ship it to Oz , after countless emails to many different sellers.... I finally got them.

Pics of the harness:

So the next mod will be: "Making the U-Connect harness"

Cheers,

Erfan

Hey Erfan, those wheels look abosolutely FANTASTIC. IMO the best I've seen so far. I didn't realise you had to roll the guards . Thanks again for you generous offer to go for a spin to get a feel for the 22's. I've now narrowed my wheel choice down to Gianelle Mass 8 or the same one's you have. (Hope you don't mind).

Cheers
Sean
