Sorry guys, i got up around 9am with my 2yo and said to the missus right lets get ready, she replies what do you mean i've got little one enrolled for a swimming class at 11am and you're taking her. I spose i could've pushed it and asked her to do it but truth be known we work so much and i love spending time with my daughter it's gold time. Contemplated coming down around 12.30 but then i wouldn't get there till at least 2pm and i had to be back by 6pm, it all just got a bit hard.

Ended up spending the whole day with my daughter, went to the park, swimming, i even put her down for her afternoon nap, so it turned out a great day after all.

Will definitely be going to the detailing session in c'field though, i will 100% guarantee it.

No worries Dom, you have your priorities right.

It was damn hot and the cars started to thin out about lunch time. I left about 1:15pm along with Snoopdolks and Spock1.

Chryslers by the bay show!

What a terrific day! Although it was pretty warm and my wheels were far too dirty to contemplate parking alongside AHEMI and HEMI57 (owing to a week OS and arriving back in Melb on Sat) it was a treat to catch up, see some great cars and meet some of their terrific owners and kids!

Domenic, I truly understand the magic of "swimming" every weekend. I take my 3 y.o. daughter every Saturday at 11am and it is the 1 meeting each week that I refuse to miss.

I would also like to know about the event up at the Murray. Hopefully by then, I might have just a couple mods done....my wife was impressed by a few minor alterations on display and made some remarks on the way home. I'm now thinking....lowered (ala AHEMI) and exhaust (ala Fat300) and tint (ala Hemi57).

For those who I met, it was wonderful to do so and for those I did not, I hope to catch up soon.

Hi all. Chryslers on the Murray (COTM) is on 24,25,26 March this year at Oddies Creek Reserve, Albury, NSW.Its run by the Albury Wodonga Chrysler Club and is open to all Chrysler products from old to new and is without doubt the biggest and best Chrysler event in Oz. It attracts in excess of 400 cars and fans come from all over the world. The weekend includes a major swap meet, cruising to a historic town on saturday morning whilst the pro-judging of top ten cars is on and then in afternoon and evening two seminars on Chrysler Chargers. These seminars are held with various designers, stylists, engineers and race car drivers from Chrysler past and present. Each year (and this is the forteenth year of COTM) a different model of Chrysler product is spotlighted. Last year was the American muscle car, with about fifty Cudas, Challengers and Chargers etc. turning up. This year is celebrating 35 years of the Aussie Valiant Charger. Sunday is show and shine day and trophy presentation, and if on monday you need more Chryslering you can call into Winton Raceway for Leo Geoghegans track day where he will give you personal instruction on getting the best out of your Chrysler after he has given it a good wringing out on the track. If you read the Chrysler Australia news letters you will see they give credit to Bob Hubbach as the stylist with the original sketch of the proposed 300C. He will be in attendance as he was instrumental in the design of various Aussie Chryslers from the 60s and 70s as well as the Dodge Viper, Copperhead etc.
As to how many 300s will be there - no telling, but if last weekends Geelong show was any indication (with eight) I would guess there will be quite a number. Don,t go looking for "AHEMI" as we will be taking our blue 72 coupe, with the plates "VHCOUP" so come on over and say good day.
Hope I have sold you on attending.
Cheers

Arnold, unfortunately I will be out of the country up until Saturday 25th March so will be unable to attend.

The COTM event is legendary and I wish I could make it.

Hi HEMI57. I guess you are staying out of Melb. to miss the CGs. I dont blame you as the traffic thru inner sth. eastern suburbs was diabolical this morning.
cheers
