Oz V6 drive away out the door is around $60,000 Australian. Not many people buy the V6's over here - everyone seems to pay the extra $6000 and go for the hemi - as they should!!

Zilla, of course both (V6 & V8) of our "300Cs" are are spec'ed the same with the only exception being the single CD in the V6 and the 6 stacker in the HEMI. They even look identical with the only exterior difference being single or dual exhausts and the one HEMI badge on the boot lid (trunk).

We get the xenons, 6 airbags, park assist, etc., etc., which I believe do not come standard on the North American 300C. But no option for Sat Nav or factory DVD.

Domenic

There used to be thread here called

"Chronically depresseed future SRT8 owners who have been forced to wait"

You could hang there

Then that turns into the

"Uncontrollably manic SRT8 owner thread" on delivery

It will all be a bad dream in a couple of months time. We'll hold your hand while you wait buddy.

Zilla

Actually it's not that bad in financial terms, June is when i go hunting for ways to spend money (obvious tax reasons). I think i can get $5700 gst off my next bas which is due July 31st, because i chattel mortgage the car. So 2 months after car is bought i get 5700 back, i reckon that's a good thing!

Zilla, very reassuring words, and i'm sure you're on the mark. For the next 2 months whilst i wait i am going to get into organising the multimedia setup i have envisaged for the car, and researching installers to find the best out there. If i have to order in the nav unit from the states then i got 2 months to do it! Wait isn't all bad, i keep telling myself...
