South Aussie 300c

Hello All,
Firstly let me say what a great forum this is. I am waiting on delivery of my 300c (hopefully this week, ordered Dec 05). These cars are just so much in demand I am pretty excited to be even getting one.

I can only put it down to most cars of this size are really boring and this is a breath of fresh air for people who want more. I havent seen many around in SA since I ordered mine but am hoping that as a few more come in we could get together for a run up through the hills.

Anyway, just introducing myself and opening this up for SA owners to make contact. If I could swear on this forum there would be a whole lot of ^%$$'s to show just how pumped I am at getting my very own 'beast'. Move over Ford and Holden someone else owns the road!!

Regards

Welcome to the club phantom. I've had my 300 for 3 weeks now and it just keeps getting better.
I know what you mean about most other cars being boring. I was considering a SS Commodore and a F6 Typhoon during the middle of last year, only because there was simply nothing else out there as an affordable alternative. Then this mighty machine hoved into view and all other options ceased to exist. I would never have been happy driving a glorified taxi (personal opinion only). It would always have been a huge compromise. The 300 saved my soul and my dignity.
It always turns heads and draws stares and I know you'll love driving yours.

Good luck hooking up with other S.A owners. The Vic owners I've had the pleasure of meeting have all been great people.
You'll find the forum has a wealth of information covering all aspects of our wonderful machines and it's a huge benefit when your considering what mods to carry out.

Enjoy

Hey, welcome phantom! I'm only about 3 weeks away from getting mine now too! Take advantage of all the info you will gain from this site - it helped me enormously in my decision making process. All the Aussies here are great - haven't met any personally yet but am looking forward to the day when i do. Remember - no question is too stupid or embarrassing - that's the whole idea of this forum.
Good luck and welcome !
Cheers,
Shane

I have ordered mine thru Chyrsler dealership on Main North Rd, good bunch of guys there. Its charcoal grey, tint with sunroof (although the wife doesnt know that part yet). Whilst I like the look of the mods done to some other members cars it was enough of a challenge to get the wife to agree to purchase so will leave things alone for a while.

Will post again when I get my hands on it.

Regards (anxiously waiting with no fingernails left)

Oh my God, just took delivery of my new 300c and what a beautiful car. I have only just got home from a couple of hours of driving and I cant wait to get back into it tomorrow!! Well worth the wait. The drive is better than I remembered when I took it for a test drive and I cant believe the looks you get. I actually had someone pull up next to me at the lights and have a look.. he left a gap of about 30m from the car infront just to give it the once over.

Feel like a new Man!!

Hi Phantom,
I am in South Australia.
Ordered mine yesterday thru Adrian Brien Chrysler.
Really happy with the attention I received at the dealership.
Unfortunately I have to wait until Oct/Nov to get mine.
Can't wait.. Getting rid of a 5 series BMW, so it better be good!
Maybe a club can be started in Adelaide?
Anyway, gotta go. Can't stop surfin' the web for photos and info.
Regards,
John (Wizard of Oz)
