Russ, I am waiting on CGU to get back to me too. I have a direct contact into their Underwriting department and expected them to let me know yesterday but still no response.

I am inner suburban and it seems that is a high risk location as I pay $100+ more than Arnold Patch who is outter suburbs.

I've just got off the phone to QBE - thank god i made that phone call!! They have quoted me $1128 per year with my fiance as a nominated driver (under 25) with a $600 excess and agreed value! There is one problem though - if you want to put big wheels on, don't go with them. They will only insure bigger wheels up to 1 inch above standard ie 19" max. Until i get my 22"s i will use them but will have to look elsewher after that. Give them a call if you haven't done so - they are very helpful on the phone.

I'm with just car insurance and I paid around $1290 pa with unlimited mods as long as the mods legal. Agreed value of 67k for the car and 6k for mods. But the access is abit steep ... around $750 . I put my sister (under 25yr) as nominated driver and she has to pay extra excess.., I cant remember how much..., probably around 400-500 more.
