Great news H57, I thought about putting mine on ebay and cashing out, Hemi C seems to have held it's value very well. Other than an SRT8, everything else seems so inadequate, I would have to pony up more cash than I would like to get the SRT so I'll continue to roll on with the C for now.

We are fortunate having the circuit so close to the city centre. The crowds were down a bit this year as the Commonwealth Games only wound up a few days before and that other "religion" here in Melbourne started up (Bloody Aussie rules "football").

Ah yes, the colour . HEMI 57 is Bright Silver. SRT 61 will be Bright Silver. I am copping heaps from my wife about that . "Why didn't you choose another colour??, no-one will know you have updated your car ".
Hey john i was at the gp on saturday too! I got a few tickets for the lakeside platform for all 4 days and entertained clients, absolutely awesome would recommend it to any business, well worth it. Clients are ringing me today saying thank you thank you we had a ball etc, even got one bloke to go on the slingshot with me saturday arvo as we were walking out! Was absolutely hilarious. I am already thinking the gp corporate will be a yearly thing for us, it really was that good.

Re the colour i think in some ways it's good that people don't realise the upgrade, otherwise some dudes get the jealous thing thinking you earn 'too much money' and all that. I'm quite wary of this and might be purchasing a ute like you to visit clients, for that very reason.

But I genuinely feel very happy for you reading this thread put a big smile on my face this morning dude! Just cannot wait till i can be posting something similar.....

Hey John,

While you're offering "fangs"?! I'd love to sit in the passenger seat

Congrats mate. From everything I've seen and read you're gonna love it.

FYI, Brighton Chrysler advertised HEMI 57 in last Saturday's "Age". No Price quoted and they stated that the plates were not to be sold with the car.

They sold the car Saturday. Reckon they got $66,000 driveaway.

I'll ship mine there and sell it.

chas, don't worry, that is Aussie Dollars (or should I say Pacific Pesos ). At the current Exchange rate it works out around US$48,200. Still a lot more than you North Americans have to pay
