Days to go!

Counting down the days now until my SRT can be seen in the flesh. Dealer called me the other day, said car is due to be delivered to him on the 8th. That is a saturday, he said they don't deliver on weekends so should be monday. Hopefully all will go well and I might have the car by easter. It will be great if that happens, I will have 4 days of driving to do!

Hemi57 are you getting yours around the same time?

By all accounts you're gonna have a ball with it. 4 days??? You won't drag yourself out of it weeks.

SRT6.1, Steve, I was thinking I must start ringing today for a day/date as I was told by Chrysler HQ Monday last week that it would be 2nd week of April. It will be just my luck if they say, "yeah pick it up Monday" as I am working in Port Macquarie at the moment and will not be able to pick it up until Thursday at the earliest .

It is gonna be a race to see who hits the road first eh? I would put my money on you

I certainly won't be at the head of the pack after the news today - will be worth the extra few days wait no doubt.

Hey Russ, what "news today"?

I rang Chrysler HQ, they said there was a "block" on the SRT8s to give the Journalists a bit of a lead before they release to the public. They gave mine the go ahead for predelivery at PreCar so it may be at Brighton either Monday or Tuesday (I hope).

Seems high probability for pick-up Thursday.

Moose, yeah you can be assured I will post photos of SRT 61 the day I pick her up. Hopefully srt6.1 will be able to as well.

Do you have any pictures of the Dash? I have navigated around and cannot seem to find a picture which shows off the "carbonfibre" appearance. You know, I have not seen a SRT8 interior "in the flesh"? Oh well I will have my very only in about a week

Hi Guys,

I saw an SRT8 on the road last night on Maroondah Highway in Ringwood. It was a Silver one - they sound unbelievable!!! It must have been a media car because as far as I can tell none of you guys have got yours yet!
Not long to wait though!!!

I really don't know how you guys get your information. As yet I have no delivery details and feel like a mushroom after asking the dealer so many times.

I dont know much either, all i know is my car was due to be built April 3rd and probably 2 months afterwards i MIGHT get delivery. Veronica is due to call me this arvo with more info, I hope when she looks up my commission number on the chrysler system that it says yep built, passed, wrapped up and ready to be shipped next week. I will be absolutely utterly spewing if it has been delayed, might even make me a bit sad and upset!
