Yeah wiz can you double check those figures for SA, our vic prices quoted 1-2 weeks ago are around 81500 and i haven't been told yet to the contrary by the dealer.

Hi Wizard,

I work in the car game and your Government charges (ie. stamp duty) are cheaper than in Victoria. Based on the figures you have quoted above, the drive away price in Victoria would be $81010. Our stamp duty is about $1000 higher (5% of the purchase price whereas yours seems to be around 3-3.5%) of the purchase price. Our rego however is cheaper. Still pretty close overall, but is definitely is cheaper in SA than Vic. Bloody State Governments!! You reckon they could standardise it across the country.
