The Beast Has Arrived!!!!

I went to my dealer today to check out my SRT. It just got delivered from Pre Car this afternoon, I was waiting at there as it arrived in the drive. What can I say, it is bloody unreal!!!!!

Soooooo much different in looks to the normal 300c 5.7. Everything about the car is just fantastic!! The seats, wheels, exhaust, the body kit, the interior with 300km on the dial with SRT logo in the centre.

I JUST LOVE IT. IT IS A VERY MEAN LOOKING MONSTER!!!

And the exhaust note just says don't mess with me.

Dealer will to PD tomorrow. Will be driving away at 3pm tomorrow afternoon.

Cheers,

Steve.

Hey Steve - congrats dude!! Looks like you will be the first one here on this forum in Aus to take delivery! I think Hemi57 picks his up tomorrow in Melbourne as well. Perfect timing for the easter long weekend - you must be stoked!
Make sure you post some pics as soon as you get it. And don't stare at it too long - you'll go cross eyed!

Yeah I know Hemi57 was getting his tomorrow, I think he will be thrilled with the upgrade. The 300c is a beautiful car, but the SRT is just a whole new experience. Words are just not enough!!

Cheers,

Steve

Steve, outstanding news. I will be thinking of you at about 3:00pm today as I pull out of Brighton Chrysler's driveway with THE Victorian SRT 61 as you are pulling outta your dealer's driveway in THE New South Wales SRT 61. How about that?

We must get the SRT 61s together one day for a photo shoot

I am going to post a couple of pics in the SRT section of the Forum in a couple of minutes of the unplated SRT 61, taken courtesy of DOMENIC on Monday. I needed to get home and check my books to compare but I can now confirm the Aussie SRT8 has wheel arch extensions which the North American version doesn't. I reckon that will get the US & Canadian members talking.

Hey Hemi57 - or should I be calling you SRT61 now!! Those prelim pics Dom took look amazing. You must be like a kid in a lolly shop at the moment! Only a few hours to go mate. Make sure you take some photos today and post them straight away - all us guys are busting to see it!

Not bad pics for a mobile phone eh!

Guys i assure you I was very excited when i saw srt61, my eyes were popped out like graham kennedy and first thing i did was ring John and start babbling on like a schoolkid! I think my words were that it is just a beast of a car. I actually have another pic that i took of the speedometer (with it's unusual km increments) but i thought it's be no fun to spoil all the surprises. The interior looks great, dark slate with lighter roof and door linings. They didnt let me sit in it let alone turn it over, which is good cause i'd hate anyone fiddling with my car before i took delivery, so i don't know about the exhaust note or rumble or the dash lights. I'm sure pics will be posted in due course though!

All up the car just looked great, huge, awesome, menacing, but still quite refined. I love the fact they didn't go overboard with the spoiler kit, those things date quickly and look crap in my opinion.

Hey turk, I think Steve may have meant 300kph on the dial, as in the top speed indicated on the speedo.
