I think a get together is a good idea. We can put some faces to names and come up with a plan of attack. If we could get a place to ourselves it would make life a little easier. A crowded coffee shop may be a little difficult.
I'd be happy to volunteer the training room where I work in Box Hill. We can always order coffees from the local cafe.

That's sounds like a good idea Sean. can you use it though on a Sunday? If not, maybe we will have to make it one night during the week. Please don't make it a Saturday as I work all day and would be devastated to miss out !
Lets get the ball rolling and try to do something in the next couple of weeks. I'm quite happy to meet at the cafe in St Kilda - it's a great spot there and the parking is no problems.

I could use it on a Sunday for our first gathering. It wouldn't be suitable as a regular location but to get the ball rolling it'd be fine. There's tons of parking at my work as well.
A cafe is great but I'm thinking we may need more control over our environment as there could be quite a few of us. Just a thought.

Well, why don't we all try to commit to a date. We can make it a real informal initial get together, meet and greet and have a good look at each other's cars. How about this Sunday? (April 23). No point beating round the bush. Lets see how many can make it this Sunday and if the numbers look alright, lets try to confirm something later this week. Post a response if you are ok with Sunday 23.

Cheers,

Shane

We have a family day BBQ at Albert Park for one of our forum clubs that I have committed to attending. Starts at 12 so if we were 10.30 or something that would be fine.

Cheers
Russ

Unfortunately that Sunday is not good for me. I have a wedding lunch to attend and with a baby it's never a simple task getting out of the house. The following Sunday is my daughters Christening. How does Sunday 7th of May suit?
Sorry
Sean
