Snoopdolks and I were discussing the location thing this morning and have 1 match with 1 Domenic mentioned. We will work out a suitable location soon.

avm, excellently story and brilliantly written I might add.

I envy your fuel ecomony on the highway as HEMI 57 never got close to breaking into the single figures, although that was on 110 Klm/hr highways and I did notice appreciably better economy at 100 Klm/hr where the average started to count down markedly.

It is quite amazing how the 300C still commands so much attention even after being on Aussie roads for 6 months now. I had another person ask if SRT61 was a "Bentley", then when I said "no", the next guess was, "Rolls".

Looking forward to meeting you at the "meet & greet"

avm, I am under pressure to decide the time and location, especially from the members who attended the Detailing Workshop today. I hope to come up with a suitable location in the next week.

Hey avm, welcome and great story.
I see you took delivery from Oakleigh as well. Did you deal with Paul? Have you noticed that the Chrysler section of the dealership is now closed?
The points you make about the car are very accurate. I have to admit that I'm not tired of the attention yet except when I leave it in a car park and return to find young kids looking at it.
I attending a wedding about 3 weeks ago and happened to get a primo spot right outside the front of the church. When all the guests exited for the customary pictures the car received plenty of looks and comments. A group of 4 guys (3 in their 50's and 1 in his 20's) gathered at the fence at the front of my car to have a quick puff and I overheard the young guy obviously replying to a question from one of the older guys. He said, "that thing would cost more than your entire house." It seems that he too thought it was a Bentley. Needless to say I had a smile from ear to ear and didn't bother to step forward and correct him.

See you on the road.

Cheers
Sean
