I have no idea what the actual part number is. The description is E&G Heavy Mesh Grille and it is available from Wyckoff Chrysler for around US$329. I recommend you check out eBay as you can get it from a Florida Dealer for about US$289. This is the recomendation I gave to MrVelvet and he should be receiving his about now.
There are other E&G grilles available, ie. double mesh, centre bar, chromed, double chromed, etc.
The "basic" E&G Heavy Mesh grille suits me just fine. It is polished Stainless and has now been on my two 300Cs since 11th November 2005 and still looks brand new.

I took the SRT from the Wheels magazine for a drive yesterday. It was awesome, heaps of power and feels like even more torque. you must be very pleased. how did you go with the shipping on the grill? did you get his with a lot extra $? duties?
I received mine from the Florida guy yesterday via UPS Expedited. Total cost was US$434 and I wasn't charged any duty or GST on the consignment - somewhat to my surprise.
Beau, that is an interesting story getting to test drive the Wheels Roadtest car.
Oh yeah, very pleased at this end and following a thread in the SRT8 section of the Forum where other members are saying they go even harder and sound even better after doing about 8000 miles. Roll on 13,000 Kilometres
Great news on receiving your gille Russ. I have recommended the Florida dealer to Dave in SA but having not actually done business with them myself it is good to have it validated that their service is okay. Your shipping must have cost a premium? The cost of my shipping for the grille was US$79.95 (also included the winged badge too) but that was back in November 2004.

Yes I wanted the expedited shipping which got it here in 3 working days and was happy to pay the extra to do so. Until I resolve the badge issue it's not going on the car but I have a couple of ideas in mind. I took a look at the DC option one today and noted that the badge on that isn't moulded in either although I can't say I thought much of the rest of the grille (which looked and felt to be chromed plastic) or the AU$1200 price tag!
Hi Russ,
I second that. I had a chance to look at the DC mesh grille close up last week and i must say it really looked cheap. from the distance so so, but close up it just doesn't look right, especially given the price tag. i think getting the proper stainless mesh grille would be the go (with the logo, of course
After spending weeks checking out all the available grilles, I decided on the T-rex for a couple of reasons. Some grilles that i've seen, the mesh was too tight (Dub Mopar) while some others were too spaced apart for my liking (E&G). The T-rex was the most appealing to my eyes, especially the finish of it. The shine on it is remarkable thanks to the triple chrome plated stainless steel. I have no regrets on this grille. Seen a few others on the road and at brighton dealer, but not happy with them. My 2cents on grilles anyway.

Hi Russ,
Stumbled across this today. They don't give the dimensions but they do refer to smaller cheaper badges. Size does matter. Worth a look
