$90 000 SRT8? in Oz

Hey guys
I was just browsing carsales.com and came across this SRT8 available in Victoria. I know in Sydney that to get the SRT8 soon is only by order. Even with its features i.e. Custom grill and sunroof etc. Is 90k a reasonable price. Also a good opportunity for any of you guys looking for an SRT8.

You will find this car for sale at Northern Motors in Bundoora, apparently it is owned by the sales manager there, they got him to buy one when they first came out, so I was informed.

$90k seems way way too much for the car, that said Northern Motors are also quite expensive for all their C's. Just have a look at some of their "second hand" stock of C's and they are all priced over RRP with 10000+ kms on them.

Is that 90K US dollars? If not what does the 90K equate to in US dollars?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe someone recently posted the Aussie dollar is $0.78 to one USD. If this is correct, then it's ~$70,200 USD...yikes.

I remember where that rate came from. There was a discussion on OEM SRT8 wheels in Australia and they were, again don't quote me, $3,600 each...yikes again.

I wonder if the minimum wage in Aussie is $50 an hour! It seems high for the car, but it's all relative to the ecomomy I guess.

WOW. Talk about if you want to play, you gotta pay. Ouch. You most certainly do pay for the priviledge. But not as much as some in Europe. I was talking with a member and they paid close to $80,000 US for there SRT. What if we shipped you one down under? Is that possible or too much money to convert the 300 to your motor laws down under?

In the US I got 2 SRT's for what you pay down under for 1 SRT. WTF

Rambit. I remember when there was the discussion about the Aussie's 300's getting the thin fender extenders because of there motor laws about the tires have to be inside of the wheel well.

I had a member, down under, price the fender extenders. Are you sitting down. Over $500 for each one. WTF. $2K and not even shipped to the states yet. You can get a complete ground effects kit here for $2K. I told the member thanks for looking into it for me and getting prices. I will wait on Tommy Z's fender extenders instead.

I am FAT and I want my fenders to be FAT to match, lol.

Hi guys,

I am getting my SRT8 for $83,000 on road, including the E&G grille.

I think that $90k is a bit overpriced for a car that has already been on the road.

The only thing different to mine seems to be a sports exhaust, which I don't really think would cost an additional $7000.
