OT - Congratulations on the new vehicle.

Wow!. A towbar.. It was only a matter of time. Indications were it was not difficult (I'm just not that mechanical). I just emailed service..

thanks, srtaus.

Thanks again for the welcome guys. Already this car has exceeded my expectations, it's great. Can't believe the ability to turn heads.

With the towbar, I just put it on the order back in Feb and it turned up on the car. Stuck my head under and it looks like it fits straight up. The is a little notch cut out of a aero flap underneath but the bumper is intact, it looks very neat. Still curious as to the "no tow" recommedation since the USA cars ahre the same tow rating as other models. I was showing the car to my panel beater and he says many "prestige" brands are not allowing the fitting of towbars even though the says the cars can handle it, his theory is that it is an "image" thing.

Can I therefore lay claim to be the first to tow with an SRT8 in AUS, having toed our race club trailer back from Oran Park this morning...
