Another one off the ship

Guys, I've been away and have not checked here for a while. Picked up my Mineral Grey SRT8 from Chatswood today. Seems like I'm one of the last off the ship!

Very happy with the colour choice (thank God).

Rock stock except for the Towbar & staying that way for exclusivity and uniqueness!

OT

Yes the colour is a very good one becuase in 2007MY vehicles for 300C SRT8's there is no mineral grey. Getting replaced by midnight blue and steel blue!

srtaus needs to compare notes with you on your quest for a towbar.

Towbar

They just fitted up a genuine Mopar one, am I missing something?. I notice the handbook says towing is not recommended, although US Specs say the same tow rating as other models, how come? Lod rating on the tyres looks OK at 101, any clues?. I'm not intending to tow anything but a box trailer but just curious.

At the last report srtaus was completely at a loss in getting a Towbar for his SRT8. He was advised that the 300C bar would not fit and there was no bar locally available. I think he did discover that a bar was available in the US but not sure.

I questioned whether the SRT8 had been passed for ADRs. I know that DCA did not submit the SRT8 for an Engineering Certificate to have a towbar but do not fully understand what that means, ie. can you legally fit an aftermarket or non-specified towbar
