When I purchased my 300c with a factory tow bar I was horrified how low it sat. I need to tow a caravan. Compared to my Fairmont Ghia side by side there would easily be 6" difference (lower on the 300c). Instant panic mode!!!.However with the tow hitch on it's highest point(on 300c) and Falcons on lowest point and hitching the van onto the 300c; the 300c sat dead straight without any sag in the arse (due to a nice firm rear end ). In other words, although the 300c appeared that it couldn't possibly take a heavy caravan, it does it better than the Ford.
I often get comments at caravan parks how well it sits with the van on. Mind you, I also get lots of comments of the shear fact that I am towing with a 300C at all. Click on thumb nail.

Hey, guys, here in the states, they (Mopar) sell a hitch mount that when not towing, is not visible, and should alleviate the dragging problem then, anyway. I know, stuff from the States is pricey, but its an option.

Its like the regular one, mounting to the body of the car in the same place, but instead of the 2 inch square reciever tube hanging down below the bumper, it points straight up. Odd, and requires another adapter, but its one solution.

Heres a pic of it with the 90 degree ball mount. So, you can reach up under, and unpin this adapter, and the actual reciever on the car is invisble.

And heres a pic of it unmounted, followed by the pic of its partner, the 2 inch receiver adapter.

Right, heres my thought. If I dont come up with a way to attach a three bike carrier to my SRT, then we are reduced to driving the wifes 1999 Chevy Blazer whenever we want to take the kids someplace to ride. Hmmm, SRT or Blazer? I'll add the hitch reciver

I wonder what kind of hitch this guy is using? Kind of a coincidence he would post this today! http://www.300cforums.com/forums/srt...you-towed.html
