no, kept the 5speed, but replaced all the gears in the box including reverse with straight cut and wider gears. 5speeds are better for drags and racing cause there are less gears to go through. The altermate gear box would be a 5speed in a sti 6speed casing, that way you can costom make even wider gears taking advantage of the bigger casing... big dollars, around $13k-$15k (aus) if not more..

I took an SRT GC out for a spin on the weekend, and it hammers. I used to have a 4.7HO GC overland and i liked that a lot, it moved well for an SUV, but the SRT is amazing. i'm just afraid it's a little too much competition for my 300, hehehehehe

Ok that is by far the fastest I've EVER heard and I'll be honest, I'm a bit skeptical (though I won't raise "the flag"...too harsh, I've driven them I know they're fast.)

In fact, there was a recent thread where a 300C SRT and a Jeep SRT raced...The Jeep consistently got better 0-60 times (duh) but the 300 SRT passed at higher speeds.

aphexer - welcome to the club.

Looks like we have our first Aussie Dealer on the forum. Be prepared to get your brain picked!! Most people on here tend to know more about these cars than the dealers do!! Hopefully you can prove us wrong.

Look forward to your input.

BTW - the dealership expansion is coming along nicely. Will be keen to check it out when it's finished - any word on when?

thanks for the welcome guys, hopefully i can answer a few questions! don't get much chance to hop on the net @ work, however i'll do what i can!

arrived here after the invitation to the victorian 300c drive day sunday the 20th... we brought a midnight blue diesel 300c and mineral grey 300c HEMI along, very impressed to see the turnout for the day!

shane: looking at a november opening (hopefully!) was meant to be completed over 6 months ago. should look fantastic though, should finally do the product justice!
