A little more info on TPM from Tech.at Werribee..
United States sensors have a black oval with a white outline marking on them and operate of 315 mghz
Australian sensors have a solid white marking and operate off 433mghz
The 315mghz signal apparantly interferes or faults a lot here Jeep had heaps of problems with their ignition key originally..hence the change
I have been told that when i replace my sensors from the original stock rims the system may require 10min of driving above 24kph to re learn that they are there.
This is probably why when i removed the stock rims and fitted the 22" rims it took 10 minutes to bring up TPM alarm so there is no need to worry as i am assurred if the tyres run flat the monitors respond quickly....
