Tour Tasmania in your 300c

Hello all owners in Aussie.

I have ordered a 300c Tourer which is due to arrive in October. I notice reading this Forum that you all like to get together around the country.

I am fortunate to be the Director of Tourism for the Federal Group in Tasmania. We own The Strahan Village on the West Coast, Cradle Mountain Chateau, Freycinet Lodge, Wrest Point Hotel and Country Club Tasmania.

Would anyone be interested in a gathering in Tassie and a tour of the State? (We could follow some of the paths of Targa Tasmania.)

I would be interested in your thoughts and suggestions and if there is sufficient interest I am happy to co-ordinate say a week early next year?

Looking forward to conversing.

Bernard

Interesting idea, I think it'd be tough to co-ordinate though. I cant get away from work for any period of time other than between christmas and probably the first week of January.

Gee I don't know.....hanging out with a bunch of 300C owners in Tassie. You'd have to be a real glutton for punishment wouldn't you??

Sounds great to me but timing is definitely an issue. I'd be looking into the new year at this stage.
BTW welcome to the forum.

Cheers
Sean

Bernard, thanks for throwing up the idea. Good to see you promoting beautiful Tassie too

It maybe better to float the idea of a weekend of long weekend as that would be easier to fit into social calendars.

Hi Bernard. A couple of years ago the Tasmanian Chrysler club along with the Bay City Chrysler club of Geelong did a tour of Tassie and from all reports it was very successful. We were not able to attend and have been waiting for an opportunity to do it, so may be this is it.
Will also be over there for the v8 supercars in Nov.
Cheers

Great idea Bernard - i'd be up for it if i could fit it in my schedule. Early next year pretty hectic for me (getting married in March) but will watch this thread with interest.

I'll be spending 4-5 weeks in Tassie starting mid March next year...taking the Chrysler for a run down there as soon as i pick it up. (Approx delivery date Jan-Mar) (hope the SRT gets delivered earlier rather than later as i have to run it in beforehand if time permits .... quite a few have said long trips are not the best to run in an engine....and Brisbane to Tassie Qualifies as a long run i guess)

I'll definately be interested if the timing is right!

Timing would be a deciding factor for me but I would be interested. Would be nice to have a convoy from the Sunshine state :-)
