Anyone removed back seat? - help needed

Hi all
Would like to remove the back seat to check out possible route to lay cables from front to back internally but can't locate the fasteners that lock the seat in place. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

PM a member by the name of cbutler32. He removed his back seats to install Dynamat. I'm sure he can help.

dont take my words for it..

but just try and pull up the bottom part of the seat up nice and firmly about 8-10 inches in from each door.Thats how i got mine up for my dvd player i ran for my daughter. its very simple then if you need to take off the backs of the seats( i didnt i just ran my wires underneath). I THINK, again i think, there are visible bolts under the bottom of the seat..

Most cars you should just be able to pull up on the seats, the back piece is what is actually bolted down.

In the event of a water landing your seats may be used a floatation device.

Since you are ultimately trying to route cables for an audio upgrade, you may find this helpful...

Hi djjasond
Thats a great write up. Lots of great pics too. Very informative & gave me some ideas. Maybe I don't need to remove the rear seat after all. There seems to be a channel on the side that could allow access to the rear compartment. Much appreciated.
Cheers!
