Great Review......Especially with the "Real Life" Fuel Consumption Values

My SRT8 is due in Jan07 and was planning on averaging 20L/100km's ( I always project for the worse).
So anything less is a bonus for me. The reason for the 20L estimates is my Brother has the Latest Malloo R8 and he is getting just under 20L. So I Figured I should expect similar.

Anyways...........Thanks for sharing ( Just incase any of you guys were thinking that of my post ) hahaha

For the metrically-impaired that's 23.5 MPG cruising at 62 MPH.
Not too shabby.

Ah yes DESIREE, only problem is, your MPG figure is US Gallons . Those of us old enough to have been bought up with miles and gallons in OZ would use the Imperial gallon and the MPG figure for that in this instance (without actually working it out) is around 29 MPG

Your estimates will be spot on around the city. 19 or 20, more if you boot it.

Haven't seen a procedure for the key chime, but one way to do it is to put the key in the ignition to cause the chime to go off, then start searching under the dash for the chime unit. It's usually a small black plastic box. Sometimes it helps to feel the outside of the box for a vibration to make sure you have the right one. They are usually only connected by one wire. Once you've located it, remove the wire and the chime and permanently disable with:

HealeyRick, .

Although I do applaud you with coming up with a viable option.

(have I missed a perfect opportunity to roll-out that animated banana developed following my WANKER outburst? )
