My concern here is that other Forum members have experienced issues when lowering their 300Cs and the rear hasn't dropped much, if not at all. Is this caused by this Self-leveling rear shock abosorbers?

From what i'e heard, if you lower between 0-30mm you shouldnt have any problems, any more than that and the back kicks in and pushes it up which causes the front to be lower, heres is a link to another member's pics

As you can see the back is high and the front is low and as i believe both front and rear we lowered the same, if you can live with the look then you shouldnt have any problems, although when i lowered mine when reversing in the morning the suspenion made some strange creeking noise,as the shocks would be fully extentend to compensate for the 3" drop in the rear.
My solution was to order some Stock (nonself-leveling) rear shocks from the u.s, total cost was $360 shipped to my door. But be aware when people talk about these shocks they call them many different things, typical self leveling shocks can be turned off, these cant, they have an internal pump, another way to describe it would be to call them high Pressure shocks, just from what people have told me.
