Servicing Costs

Hi All:

Can you share what scheduled services you have had done on your 300c and how much they cost?

I have enquired with a couple of different Chrysler Service places & got very different quotes.

Cheers
MM

I had my local non Chrysler service centre do an oil and filter change and general check over at 1500 kilometers. I provided the filter, oil and new sump plug (which was not needed this time). The total cost came to $132.00.

On sump plug rubber seals, Chrysler do not list one. To replace the seal, a new plug and seal assembly has to be purchased. The Holden Gen 3 V8 seal is the same and can be purchased individually for a fraction of the cost.

Good advice on the substitute SRT861. Pretty ridiculous that you need a new sump plug everytime you drain the oil. I never heard that one before.

Some of the NA members have replaced their sump plugs with the ones that have a magnet attached/built-in and get surprised what metal is collected on it.

Hi Aussie,
Correct me if I am wrong but did you pay $300 for a oil change?
I don't think there is anything else at 6000 miles!
Thx GAry

My 1,000 km service cost $96.
I've just had a 6,000 km interim service done by Strapp Ford at Burwood and he tells me the total cost would have been around the $170 mark for oil, filter and a sump plug.

Cheers
Russ

I've just been quoted $420 for a 12k service by Nunawading CJ. Should I be looking elsewhere?

EDIT - Just called Brighton CJ and they quoted me the same price.
