EVIC Question

Reading through the car manual again tonight (as you do occasionally when there's not much on the telly and the kids are in bed) I noticed there should be an option in Personal Settings to "Delay power off to accessories until exit" where you can set the delay time. Trouble is I don't seem to have that option. Is this a non-AUS option or have I got a dud system?? (And no - I only had one beer and I don't need glasses!).

V8300, we don't have that (or I don't on SRT 61 or didn't on HEMI 57). Good pick up of a mismatch between the Owner's Manual and the actual EVIC. I was tempted to say go see your Stealership and make some noise , but then the manual always has a get out of jail free card with something along the lines of "specifications may change without notice" .

Thanks John, its good to know it's not a problem with my vehicle. (I might mention next service anyway and see what the response is )

Cheers,

Jim

Don't know if I am on the right track here, but on my drive, with the key turned off, the accessories remain powered until a door is opened.

Yeah correct but I think you'll find after 10 mins or so they switch off (mine do). According to the manual you can set/adjust the delay time in personal settings - but it's not there!

Question I do ...

I have that option in my car ... I have the mid 2005 version of the EVIC and my car was manufactured in Austria and it's the 2006 Hemi 5.7 ...

Mybe your EVIC needs to be updated (Just thinking loud ) !!!!!
