Question Sydney 300C Owners...

Being a new member and still excited about my car, I love reading through and seeing the enthusiasm of the people on this forum, but what i've noticed is that all the enthusiastic members are mainly in Melbourne with a couple scattered around the rest of the country and haven't even seen 1 enthusiastic or vocal member from Sydney. Is it because all of us in Sydney are too busy to spend any real time on the forum since we're all too busy making money, or is it just that Sydney life has made us all immune to any real excitement or enthusiasm for anything other than money. I'm not trying to diss those in Sydney 'cause afterall i was born and bred in Sydney and love it here but i am really wondering, where is the enthusiasm gone? according to the states poll, there more of us in NSW than anywhere else except for Victoria so where are you all????

DEEP DISH, great to see another member from Sydney. At the current rate of Sydney members joining you will overtake us in Melbourne on the numbers soon.

There are a few Sydney members who have been on board for a while. All it takes for a Meet & Greet is for someone to toss a proposed date and location on a new thread and let the interested members join in to make it happen.

Good luck and don't forget to get some pics of your ride up here on the Forum.

Well said Spectre. I've noticed it as well. Melbourne is the only Australian city that has such an active 300C owners group.
C'mon Sydney pull your finger out.

Welcome Deep Dish. Rather than waiting around for someone else, wouldn't it be better to take the initiative and get the ball rolling yourself?

Cheers
Sean

Mate, I'd love to stage a cruise day and upstage all the melbournites down south on their 4TH M&G, unfortunately i don't actually know anyone else who has one at the moment but it would be great to organise a day where we can go for a nice cruise and get together for a chat about cars, i'd like to learn alittle more about these beauties and how different mods will affect the car both in performance and visuals. Why don't we float a date and location around?

BTW, Deep Dish, Which area in Sydney are you in?

Good to see another Sydneysider Deep Dish! Welcome to the club. As Spock1 has just said, why don't you see if you can get something going up there - sounds like there's more than enough of you! All it needs is someone to take the initiative - everything then usually falls into place. Good luck!

Hi Spectre
Welcome to the best regional forum!
I suspect you're right. Us Sydneysiders seem to be a secretive lot.
But anytime you want to put a M&G together I'll be there.
I've had enough with playing taxi services for the kids (would be good excuse to escape some weekend)

Only one thing! you'd have to put up with Dad jokes from me
My ride stock standard also - we can compare wish lists
Cheers!
