factory nav .... AGAIN!

does anyone know weather or not chrysler aus intend to release factory nav for 300c?

i heard some rumors of it a while back, but havent seen anything yet

I asked my dealer the other day rolin when I was in for service the same question. He didn't know himself, so who bloody knows. You think they would have had it sorted by now - i mean the car has been on the market over here for over a year now. I don't like that one that sits on top of the dash. I only like the US spec in-dash setup.

I too have also been looking for Nav system but from all the post i have read here it all seems to complicated and quite pricey.

I have been searching high and low and this is what i have just ordered.

Pioneer (double din) touch screen, 6 disc in dash dvd player

Pioneer vehicle dynamics processor which at present shows satellite positioning data and vehicle information.

Soon to be released (apparently 2 months) Pioneer GPS (road maps) module.

Bluetooth compatible.

They also have control modules to suit 300c so that you can use your steering wheel controls however these modules work via IR and from my experiences with them they don't work too well. I am looking for the wired type at present so hopefully i will let you know.
