Mopar LT Header WILL fit RHD 300c 5.7L! I just installed them! TONS of pics

Finally I decided to buy these headers even though none of the RHD Chrysler 300c that I know from the forums tried/test fit them. I thought if they'r not gonna fit my car, I probably will put it on eBay at very cheap price....! I gambled and ....... the luck is on my side . These Mopar LT Headers WILL 100% fit RHD chrysler 300c 5.7L hemi.

I bought these headers from eBay in US and the seller arranged air freight shipment to Melbourne, Australia at very reasonable price. I paid around US$240 for the shipment which is VERY cheap cosidering its 29kg packaging mass. But the landed price is around AU$300 more because I have to pay handling fee plus broker fee to clear them from custom and I dont have to pay any tax and duty because I declared them less than AU$1000. If I were using Fedex or DHL, it will cost around US$650-700 to ship to Aus.

I was thinking to ask muffler shop to install them but since I and my friend managed to install the UAS Suspension, I was thinking it is not going gonna be any harder than the Air suspension BUT I was wrong . Btw, here some pictures when it arrives:

The finish is very good IMO.

Btw, thanks for the forum members that pointed out to get these Breslin split lock, so I dont have to retighten the header bolts after few hundreds km.

To be honest it was paint in the to install these headers on jack stands. It took me and a friend of mine 12hrs to install them. I will rate 9.5/10 as 1 is very easy and 10 is extremely difficult. As comparison, I rate 7.5/10 for UAS installation. Btw, THESE GEARED WRENCHES IS A MUST

Without these wrenches it will take more man hours to un-install and install the headers. It took me 3+ hrs to remove one header without these geared wrenches but with them..., it just took us under 1 hr to remove another header. If the car was on the hoist and I had the right tools, it probably will take me less than 8hrs or even less to complete the installation.

Pictures of the installation:

Exhaust and OEM Headers removed:

The Header installed and it clears the steering column:

I thought I have to disconnect the steering column, that's why there's bolt missing on it. I actually dont have to remove the bolt on the steering column.

Photos of Breslin bolts installed:

Cats and O2 sensors extension cables installed:

View from top of engine bay:

The 1st time I started the car with these Headers, the sound is DEFINITELY MEANER than before and more importantly NO Check engine light woohooo . It rumbles a little bit more at idles and previously .... I cant hear this rumble at idle at all. When I rev the car..., the sound is louder but not by much..., just right for my taste. When I drive my car for the 1st time, it definately feels stronger and pulls harder than before , I cant stop smilling since then hahahaha . I also asked my friends to come along in the car and they were and told me that they feel more butterfly in the stomach than before. Hmmmm I think I will dyno the car soon, just wanted to know how much gain since my last dyno. Btw, I dyno-ed my car with SC Flashpaq + Mopar Intake a while ago..., I pulled around 190kw at the wheels..., but I am not sure what sort of dyno I was using.

So, anyone is Oz been thinking to get Mopar LT Headers...., go grab them NOW.

Cheers ,

Erfan

Very nice write-up with pics!!! Looks like it took a bit of work to do. Was it very difficult? Your Cat-back doesn't look stock, what is it? One of these days I'm going to do the same, I'm soooo jealous!!

Nice Job Bezita, you could have saved a couple of hours by not taking so many photos!, but we appreciate your sacrifice. I love the look of tuned length, 'spaghetti' headers, I've got a set to go on my Fairlane (one day!)

Bezita ...WOW Great news Excellent install pics and tips..you are really at the forefront of mods her in OZ you always step out on a limb
When we installed the Airhammer we spoke about headders and would they fit and no one else had tried .. you took the gamble ...Good on ya mate
And self install you must be so Rapt
Is there a reason for going long tube and not short tube headders ???

A Dyno test now with the complete package will be interesting..
Definately my next mod ......
BTW any Sidchrome Tools I can help...
cheers Frank
