Talking Ordered my new ride yesterday!

Hi all. My posts have been few and far between over the last couple weeks because I've spent my "internet time" searching for a new ride.

It's not that I'm bored with my fantastic 300C, it's just that it can't take me all the places I want to go.

I'm afraid this one is not powered by a Hemi but it will go much quicker on the water! I pick her up on Saturday.....that feeling of anticipation is great...not as much as when I waited for the 300C but comparable. Forgive me but I just had to tell someone!!

...any ideas on mods?

Cheers, Sean.

Congratulations! At first I thought you were getting another car, but then I clued in. I'm sure you will enjoy your new boat when you are away from your 300 Hemi

I think you could have combined the functionality of the boat with your car.

Seriously congratulations on ordering your latest toy and have fun with it.

Thanks pipsmom. I might do a spot of fishing (sitting around having a quiet beer or 2) in her occasionally but probably won't bait the hook to avoid catching anything that would put scales and gunk in her.

I think she'll spend most of the time pulling a tired, unfit wake-boarder (me) and performing as a swimming platform!

Cheers, Sean.

Thanks all for your replies and words of congratulations.

300Addict - I'm sure that chilling out on the boat will be one of the best ways to pass the time away from my C.

Hemi57 (Hemi Slim?) - I've bid on ebay for a Mercruiser service manual but in the event it dies and I can't repair it, a 5.7 crate engine might get the nod!

AussieHemi - thanks mate. No V8 but it'll run for a week on a tank of juice.

srt8danno - let's hope I don't back the car/boat combo into the water and create another form of hybrid.

NHOM - I reckon you were one of the guys out on the bay yesterday that I was jealously watching from my office window. My last boat was a 26 foot trailer sailer (sold 7 years ago) so this one is hopefully going to be the entree to the next one...and so on.
