How many of us Aussies have had our tranny tsb done?

I just got the TSB done for the 1-2 shift hesitation at WOT and i must say it's a big improvement, awesome fix to a problem that had bugged **** out of me since i got the car. Now i can drive in autostick (which i do regularly - 50% of the time probably) and rev the car out any way i like, WOT or just casual driving, and the gear will stay in chosen gear until either i hit the stick or it hits the rev limiter, whatever comes first. Tested it out just now and the shift occurred at about 6100 revs, which i think is pretty perfect. No hesitation whatsoever it just shifted quick clean into 2nd and srt08 was on it's way.
Anyone dragging me now in a manual transmission car will need to either be in a porsche 911 ruf twin turbo or they'll need to be shifting like schumacher to beat me.
Very happy.

Is that tsb only for the SRT8's or is it also for us poor people with the 5.7? :-)

Ummmm, I am not sure if Brighton did that to SRT 61 when she was in there last Thursday Dom. They did the EVIC update to v4.11.

I am back there this Friday to continue to attempt to resolve the dash warning lights saga and must try and remember to ask them.

Took SRT 61 into Brighton to have another go at fixing the dash error lights (so far so good) and they confirmed that the 1-2 TSB was loaded when I was there the week before last. Give her one WOT 1-2 change and there was still a significant jerk so not convinced.

Hey John - does that mean you get the 0-100 timer with the evic update?

Shane, sadly no. They did spend about 30 to 40 minutes trying to get that feature loaded without success, so I am told. It has been documented here on the Forum that it can't be done on earlier build cars and Brighton have proved that. BTW I didn't actually ask them to do that when I dropped her off but the Service Manager remembered I had asked for it a while back and tried to do it for me. They do to look after me down there. Good Service from Brighton.

I know this TSB is for the SRT8 but i have been following this thread where the 5.7 300C has been done under warranty as well . Snoopdolks had his done can you confirm that this was the TSB done and is it worth it..

Apart from the slow changes on mine compared to what I have seen with flashpac..Mine does have a reluctunce to change down from top gear when slowing down...Any one else???

An interesting & informed read below: Cheers Frank

Same on my CRD. Reluctance to change down when going slightly down hill.
