Dealer Reward for Forward Ordering

I just got a call from my friendly Salesguy at Brighton Chrysler Jeep. Firstly no improved outlook on when the 300 is to released here, October/November.

The nice news was they are organising a few little rewards for people who forward order. Not sure what that is going to be yet but stuff like keyrings, scale models, etc., which will be good. Who knows, they may even put on an event

Since i was one of first owners of a 300C in KUWAIT, i was awarded twice with nice gifts like a sanda wood box full of perfumes and insense, then i got a call to get the second one consisting of a leather folder with a thank you letter from chrysler and a bag of goodies ( 1956 die cast 300, embroided 300C car cover, 300c mouse pad and 300c box of square chocolates).
Thank you AL-MULLA CHRYSLER-KUWAIT.

Yep, I put money down November 2004 and will need to wait until maybe November 2005 for delivery - "forward order" - and I was number 5 on the list with my dealer. The 300 is gonna make an impact here.

Northwest, come on down, we are not a bad lot here in OZ Generally a friendly bunch.

The currency exchange rate for you guys in North America is favourable and you would probably find that your vacation is economical. We just get screwed on the income tax we pay and cost of fuel is high (taxes again) but other stuff is reasonable.

And we do have some quick cars in showrooms, not just Holden (Commodore & Monaro), you need to check out Holden Special Vehicles and Ford Performance Vehicles.

But I want the 300C

Hemi....

i'm sure i'll make down there someday....and you should if you haven't already try to visit Canada.....i live on the west coast in Vancouver....it's a good life here with the mountains, the ocean and of course the opportunity to own a car such as the 300C (which incidently is built in Canada)....gas is not too bad....i pump up with 89 octane currently @ 94 cents per liter.....cost me about $ 60 CDN to fill up last time....and i was nearly empty (had to pump in almost 55 liters).....btw what color did you order and what options ?

take care !

Northwest, yep I have heard a lot about Vancouver and I believe it is a little like Sydney with a beautiful harbour. My wife is regularly at me to get up there but we usually use up all our holiday (vacation) time in the US South West. I gotta expand my horizons

So you are paying CDN$0.94 a litre? We pay around that price too for our lowest grade which is 92 octane. About 8c more for the top grade 98 octane.

As far as colour & options go, nothing locked in yet as release and delivery is still a long way off. Last time I spoke direct to DC here in Melbourne late November 04, they were still finalising the specs. If the other Chryslers sold here are anything to go by, I expect there to be very few options available and the cars to be fairly well loaded. They do that because of the huge lead time from order to delivery as the shipping around the other side of the world take a while.

I thought that I would set the records straight on this thread, the promised "reward" has never been forthcoming.

In some respects I have provided more "service" to my dealer than they have done for me. This is not necessarily a criticism as I get satisfaction providing them with information and letting them have my Mesh Grille to show other customers.

Hey Hemi57. Our dealer must be a little more advanced than yours as I got a set of "hemi" cuff links.Only trouble is with my current life (read work) style I have no use for them.
Cheers
