Tyre pressure reading in Bar only?

Hi guys, my MY07 only shows tyre pressures in Bar, I can't work out how to set for PSI. The manual points me to the Language option, I have selected English. I have set the readouts to be Metric. No matter what I select the pressures are in Bars.

Any clues?

Never heard of that.

But if you're quick with math you can use this forumla and just live with it.

1 pound per square inch = 0.0689475729 bar

It's easier to know that 14.7 PSI is one bar. Cheers.

Either way, I would prefer direct PSI reading. I found another post on this forum, it looks like recent models only do bar, bugger.

I don't think you're able to switch it in Aussie cars, but here's a conversion chart - PRESSURE CONVERSION CHART PSI-BA. Maybe print it out and keep it in your glove box.

Yep, you're stuck with it unfortunately. You can change to PSI but everything else converts to how the Yanks like it (ie. miles per gallons, miles per hour, etc).

As above. You can check it on our cars by changing units of measurement in the EVIC. I do it this way when i need to check my tyre pressures then just change it back.

It's all very simple...divide by 7 will give you psi. eg 210 kPa over 7 = 30psi
