Headlight colour, different to each other after replacement...?

Hi Everyone,

Just had the right headlight replaced under warranty because it was flickering,
but the replacement light is not the same intensity as the original, is slightly yellow in colour.
intensity
Has any one had the same? is there a Fix it? or should I take it back to the dealer to replace again.

Thanks

This TSB that came out in December should answer your question - http://www.wkjeeps.com/misc/LX/TSB/TSB_0802907.pdf. The problem I have with it is 200 hours of driving under night time conditions seems like a very long time. I guess you could also drive around with your lights on for 200 hours during the day, but still!!!

If this ever happens to me I'm going to insist they replace both. I think what happened is they changed bulb brands.

Keram, good to see you haven't forgotten us. I thought about you only yesterday as I was reviewing my contact list.

Rambit has provided what seems like all the angles. Please let us know what the outcome is.

Fantastic..! Thanks guys for the info.

This will put my mind at ease... I thought I would handle the colour change in the beginning but.. it started to give me the.......! dont know why there really isn't that much difference.

So if you see a 300c driving with the lights on during the day for the next year it's ME..!

Thanks

Keram
