Anybody want a DVD system

Came across this on ebay, thought someone might be looking to do an upgrade:

CHRYSLER 300C SRT8 REAR DVD HEADREST MONITORS GENUINE - eBay, Wheels, Tyres, Car Accessories, Tuning, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 25-Jan-08 09:47:01 AEDST)

FWIW, you can probably buy a similar cheap aftermarket system for about half the asking price, but it wouldn't be the same quality as the real thing. I think the SRT8 trim will be darker than the regular 300C so you would probably need to get the headrests recovered to match if you don't have the SRT8.

(Happy with that exotica?)

Cheap arsed alternative at the bottom of the page:

PS: The factory system in my new 300C rattles like a bastard.

thanks mate. As for mine they dont rattle. The headrest trim colour is perfect. MMMMM those Strathfield ones would make me worry though and you would not be able to get the sound through the factory intergrated unit unless you spent more on an fm transmitter of some description. Im guessing the resolution on the Strathfield units would look like an old photo taken with a 1 mega pixel camera. You get what you pay for.

You could always buy a new car and get the for free, othrwise the ones on ebay would be a hell of a saving off what Chrysler would want to charge you for them later.

you can buy nicer screens on Ebay and install them in the original headrest, much niicer look .

No offence to anyone who has the factory system, just my personal preference.

unless your going to spend $600 plus for each screen they are all going to look the same. Most TFT screens are very similar in resolution and clarity. Alpine are the only monitors that display true colour and clean images. You can see the difference when they are placed side by side.

Chrysler ones definitely not cheap thats for sure. List on those is $3400/trade $2850 + install.

These ones are a steal and are only a week old. Definitely a great deal there on eBay.
