My first, of many, performance mods!

Mark and the crew at Dynomotive here in Melbourne installed Steve's (Redcliffedyno.com) performance pack on my SRT8 on Monday.

The new accelerations' fantastic and I've been amazed at the improvement in fuel consumption! Both vendors have done a fantastic job of really making the most out of how the machine should have come out of the factory.

Good to see you are happy :-)

Looks like a great improvement. What does the performance package include? Exhaust and CAI?

Nice work. Power increases on a Dyno chart look good but it would be good to see what that converts to in 0-100 & 1/4 mile time.

You should feel sorry for us 5.7L owners if you think the 6.1L is out of the factory detuned! The bogging down & sluggishness around the city is really p1ssing me off!

Me too. I spoke with Steve last night, he has a nice way of making you feel excited about the Predator and his tunes. Saving like mad now.

I found the fix for the bogging down and sluggishness in my 5.7 is all but gone after doing the slow accelerator thing mentioned here on the forum. The throttle response is very impressive since doing this. ie: turn ignition to start with out starting the car, wait for all lights except Engine light to go out, slowly depress the accelerator pedal to the floor, and slowly raise it again. Worked a treat with mine. Only trouble is, it has made such a difference, fuel consumption is through the roof, coz I always win the traffic light drags. hehe.

A week before I had the work done we went down to the Calder park drags. Our best effort on the night was RT: .8 ET: 13.8 and Top Speed: 167 Km/h. Weather permitting we'll be back on the track Friday night and see how the new tune performs

Pics and a video from the previous night drags;
